I cannot view my https site, I am getting a warning from my web browser?
When creating https site in MAMP PRO, by default, a “dummy” ssl certificate is being used. It is normal for your browser to warn you about this. Because you created the site, you can trust that it is not malicious.
Safari
After you create a https site, first open it using your Safari browser.
Click on “Show Details”
Click on “Visit The Website”
Enter your Mac username and password, you should now see your website.
Chrome
After you create a https site, first open it using your Chrome browser.
Click “Advanced”
Click “Proceed to .. “
Your site in Chrome will always show a red warning, this is normal.
